About Us

Hand Milked. Homestead Made. All Natural

At Rotating Acres, our skin care isn't just about natural ingredients, it's about people, family, and community. Every bar of soap, every jar of cream, and every balm we create carries with it the hands and hearts of an entire family working together with one shared purpose: to provide something pure, wholesome, and meaningful.

Our products are made with goat milk, beef and sheep tallow, beeswax, and nourishing botanical herbs, but the story behind them is just as important as the ingredients themselves. After 20 years of military service, my husband poured his dedication into raising animals with the guidance of biblical husbandry. Through his butcher shop, he not only processes meat with integrity but also teaches others in our community how to use the whole animal, ensuring that nothing goes to waste and every resource is valued. It's his way of giving back, empowering families to be more self-sufficient while honoring the Creator's provision.

I bring the knowledge gained from years of working in a naturopathic doctor's office, carefully blending each recipe with both wisdom and research so that our skin care is effective, safe, and true to the body's natural design. Our daughters step in with creativity and joy, capturing photographs, greeting customers at markets, preparing shipments, and helping share our journey with others. Even our youngest son has an important role, tending to the animals with love and care, knowing that their well-being is directly tied to the goodness we can offer others.

But what makes Rotating Acres truly special is not just our family, it's how this little business weaves us into the fabric of our community. At farmers markets, we meet neighbors, new friends, and fellow small business owners who encourage one another and share in the joy of building something real and local. Customers become friends, and friends become like extended family. Together we celebrate the values of hard work, honesty, and gratitude for the land and animals that sustain us.

This is more than a business, it's a way of life. Each of us contributes, each of us sacrifices, and together we answer the calling to create skin care that nourishes body and soul. Without family and community, this dream would not be possible. But united, we are building something that honors the past, blesses the present, and looks with hope toward the future.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. We do not use fragrance oils in any of our skincare products. All scents come from 100% pure essential oils, natural oleoresins, or the natural aroma of the ingredients themselves.
Yes. Every product is handcrafted in small batches. We personally formulate, mix, pour, label, and package each item with care and attention to quality.
Yes. We use fresh goat milk in many of our products, including our soaps and lotions. Goat milk is valued for its vitamins, minerals, and skin-loving properties.
Because our soaps are handcrafted using natural ingredients, each batch may vary slightly in color, swirl pattern, or texture. These variations are normal and are part of what makes handmade products unique.
Our cold-process goat milk soaps cure for approximately 4–6 weeks. This traditional curing process creates a harder, longer-lasting bar while producing a gentle, skin-friendly soap.
Many customers with sensitive skin enjoy our products. However, every person's skin is different. We recommend reviewing the ingredient list and performing a patch test before full use.
Never. We do not test our products on animals.
Store products in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Allowing soaps to dry between uses will help them last longer and maintain their quality.
